12/18
– MK and MVMCP with meals at CRT and BOG, snacks at Lunching Pad and PVH
We
checked in, and even though we were about 12
minutes late, we were taken in right away and waited in line for the
chance to
meet and get pictures with the star here, Cinderella herself. While
waiting,
looked around and found some interesting things, like in the corner a
small chair and a bench. I think it is for Jaq and Gus when they act up.

We ascended the stairs, which seem to go on
and on until we reached the top landing, where we were greeted and announced.

We
thought we would be seated in the middle of the room as that was where
we saw the party right before us get seated, but we had the perfect
table, right by the window that overlooks Prince Charming Regal
Carrousel
and the courtyard, a wonderful view to start off our day.

We did notice that it wasn’t full and even by
the time we were finished with our food and meeting the other 4 Princesses, it
was still not full. We ordered OJ and waters and both of us ordered the
Traditional Breakfast. In a short, we
received our OJ and water, then they brought the wand and sword but we found
out later that we never did receive the star, oh well. Our Pastry plate was
then brought which had a total of 8 pastries of 4 different kinds and then 3
strawberries. They were fresh but nothing special. We tried each and the cheese
Danish was the best.
Our breakfast
plates were brought: scrambled eggs, country fries, 3 sausage links and 3
pieces of bacon (I ate one piece of the bacon before taking the picture).
The
food was hot but the same as if you ordered from a food court or other table
service. The food was about what we had expected
which was fine with us as it gave us a chance to start the day off inside the
castle. For future visits, if we want to do CRT, we would be looking at a
dinner during the fireworks or maybe a lunch.
I can see where this is a great way to meet the princesses if you have
young children. Andrea got to meet the 4
princesses: in order, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Ariel, and Jasmine. You will notice that there are no pictures of me with the princesses here, well, I have my princess and didn't need any other princess pictures.

We both
enjoyed ourselves and loved seeing the looks on the young girls and even boys face. Priceless. So, speaking of priceless, the price for 2
adults was $110.77 (4 TS which included the tip). Was the food worth it, no, not even close but
for the experience, we both give it a hearty yes.
We left and went down stairs, pulled out the TP, well
went to pull out the TP but discovered I had left it in the room, so I used the
app online. I will say that can be a
challenge as it seemed to hang up when I scrolled down and it stopped, where
ever it stopped, that was what I could see.
I was still able to make it work, just something that I wasn’t
expecting.

We started to head up to the front and noticed that
there was only 10-minute wait to meet Rapunzel and Tiana, which we had planned
on meeting on Christmas when we were in the parks so we went in and waited, took
8 minutes and then we were in to meet them.
We had fun with all our meet and greets by asking something that would
cause an interaction, both were very good and totally in character. After this we headed up to the front, first
stop by the Walt and Mickey statue in front of the castle, then down to meet
the Big Cheese himself, Mickey Mouse. We
had only a 5-minute wait and had a lot of fun with him, asking when he planned
on proposing to Minnie, he did everything he could to change the topic.
We were going to walk when I noticed the Horse drawn Fire
engine so we went over and asked if we could ride it. The CM said “Yes you can, it is only one way
to the Castle, Oh and congratulations on your engagement. We sat down and waited. When the CM announced that we were leaving,
well we were like the Grand Marshalls of Main Street, the only 2 people
riding. This was a wonderful ride and we
truly felt like VIPs as we were riding up to Cinderella’s Castle and all others
had to walk.
We
stopped up in front of
the castle and then it was off to Tomorrowland and do several rides, her
Space Mountain while I road Tomorrowland Speedway and then we went on
more attractions including the People Mover and Carousal of Progress.
We
ordered the stuffed Ham & Cheese pretzel and a Sprite. The cheese was very
hot but overall it was a very bland snack. Mustard was the only saving grace to
make it taste better. Our total cost was $14.49 (for us, not
worth it).
We then moved on and happened to walk by where Merida has her meet and greet and noticed there was a short line with a 10-minute wait, so we got in line and waited. This wait was 11 minutes but out of all the characters, other than Mickey and Minnie, she was the best, had the look from the movie, the mannerisms, accent and over all the best we encountered the whole trip.
After this we headed off to Fantasyland and continued following our TP,
waiting for our 7DMT and then off to lunch at BOG.

It was very warm, well hot and so sunny |

Since the smallest room is the West Wing and
I know it can be the hardest to get to eat in, we went and tried to find a
table. We waited a little bit and secured
a table in the West Wing. I must say it
is an interesting room to eat in, nosey and dark but still a great
experience. I went and got our drinks
and then returned to the table just in time for our food to be brought to
us.
She
ordered the Croque Monsieur with
green beans and the Strawberry cream cheese cupcake. The sandwich was
as expected, barely warm but flavorful, would be so much better if it
was hot. The highlight of the food for Andrea was her cupcake, she
loved it and if will order this one everytime we go back, as she said we
will come back the next time we are on vacation. As far as the grey
stuff, well she prefered the strawberry over it. Oh by the way, I'll
give you one guess what her dessert will be for when we are back for
dinner on Christmas.
I
ordered the Carved Turkey
sandwich with fries and the Master’s cupcake. This sandwich was also
only barely warm but the turkey was not dry. Again, this dish would be
so much better if it was hot. My cupcake was nothing special but was
moist.
Our
total for this meal - $49.57. Was it
worth it, for food, so so but she loved the cupcakes and the experience, YES.

What
we got
was nothing like we had seen in the video and was the worst of anything
we
ordered, the picture makes it look big, but believe me, it is not big at
all. We would describe it as cardboard with some flavoring on it. Not much taste, very small. Our
cost - $15.21.
We walked around taking in the sights and headed up to
watch A Frozen Holiday Wish for the 6:30pm show so that we could avoid Main
Street and the Castle area as much as possible until after the Parade, with one
exception – in less than 10 minutes we saw both Talking Mickey Mouse in his
Christmas attire and Tinkerbell because we went during the parade. We got more pictures taken and walked around
however we did notice that the wait times for the rides never went down and
were long waits for just about everything.
By this time, we were both very tired but wanted to see Wishes and the
Parade so we made our way up toward the flagpole and had pictures take then
watched the Holiday Wishes. We went over
to where Tony’s is and found some seats. After a wait, 2 of the rocking chairs
became available so we camped out until the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas
Parade. It was a nice rest and well, I
wish we could say that we watched it all but both of us were falling asleep and
we headed out after only about a quarter of the parade. We
headed out and caught the bus to AOA, and they went thru it to POP,
then to our room and we crashed, a very, very long day. Will we do the
party again, we will see but we do know we would never do it on the
first day we get go into the parks. It was time to lay down and let
visions of Disney World play in our heads
We
could add a lot, and I mean a lot more pictures as we both had cell
phones, and one camera along with the Memory Maker (haven't downloaded
the pics just yet but have been working on those. Thanks to all who
are reading it.
Tomorrow, 12/19. we are in AK, with lunch at Yak &
Yeti and Dinner at HBD, along with a few snacks.
